Officers from the Los Santos Police Department responded to reports of a shooting with a victim down near Davis Ave. and Carson Ave. in the Davis neighborhood of Los Santos. As police arrived in the area, they located a man lying on the ground in the Mega Mall parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
Responding officers immediately began rendering aid to the victim and looking for evidence related to the shooting. The victim is described as a male, approximately 65-years-old, and a Los Santos resident.
Surveillance video provided to the LSPD from the Mega Mall showed an unknown male approaching the victim, striking them with a golf club multiple times, followed by a second unknown male approaching the victim and fatally shooting him in the head.
“This was a brutal attack. It’s unknown if the incident is gang-related or targeted. Our team of detectives is investigating this incident to the fullest extent,” LSPD Public Information Officer John Paul told Weazel News
The suspects are described only as two male adults and are being sought by authorities.
The LSPD adds that the investigation surrounding the incident remains ongoing and that anyone with information is urged to contact police.
